The 4th Prague Embedded Systems Workshop

Submission

There will be three types of submissions at PESW:
  • Full papers (up to 10 pages, single-column) describing original research.
  • Abstracts (one page, single-column) of earlier published successfully presented papers (at conferences, journals, etc.). The original source should be indicated in the abstracts.
  • Student posters - postrer presentation of defended Bc. and MSc. Theses. Will not be included in the Proceedings.
Prospective authors are encouraged to submit their contributions electronically through the following web page https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=pesw2016 or by sending them to Workshop Chairs by e-mail (only in case of access problems) before the submission deadline.
Accepted full papers and abstracts are supposed to be presented at the workshop by the authors. Longer presentation is expected in case of abstract submission (30 min. with discussion).
The Proceedings will be distributed electronically (CD disk) and provided with ISBN.

Student Poster Session

The objective of the Student Poster Session at the PESW Workshop is to provide a forum for presentation of student works defended this or in the last year (since summer 2015). The presented works must be Bachelor or Master Theses from the field of Embedded Systems. The Thesis supervisor should be mentioned in Acknowledgement.

The Poster authors are encouraged to submit a short abstract (in English) of their work electronically through the following web page: https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=pesw2016 or by sending it to the session chair by e-mail (only in case of access problems) before the submission deadline. Please indicate the "Student poster" in the paper type.

Accepted posters are supposed to be presented at the workshop by the author. The maximum poster size is given by 70 cm in width and 100 cm in height (B1). The poster must contain the identification of the author and the institution of the work defence (e.g. School, Faculty and Department). The posters must be written in English language.

The Poster authors are encouraged to attend all the other sessions of the Workshop. There is no registration fee for the Poster authors.

The Poster session submissions will not be included in the Workshop Proceedings. However, the list of presented works and the Abstracts will be published at the workshop webpage.

Notification of acceptance: June 26, 2016

Final paper submission

Authors of accepted full papers/extended abstracts should submit their final versions through the same Easychair web page https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=pesw2016 or by sending them to Workshop Chairs via email (only in the case of the web access problem) before the deadline for submission.
The final version of the paper/abstract should be formatted according the provided templates. If possible, submit only pdf files (ISO compatible, with embedded fonts), in case of conversion problems MS Word files (doc/docx) are also allowed.
